Question:129 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a suckler cow grant payment has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10405/02]
During the course of processing in the area aid unit a query arose on the right to claim a particular land parcel which was dual claimed by the person named and another claimant. My Department is awaiting the submission of evidence of entitlement to claim from the party named.
The person named applied for premium for ten animals under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. The application is at the final stage of processing.
