Question:113 Mr. Collins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will issue a copy of all regulations on milk quota for young farmers. [10784/02]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota.
The regulations governing a milk quota are the European Communities (Milk Quota) Regulations, 2000 – S.I. No. 94 of 2000 – and the European Communities (Milk Quota) (Amendment) Regulations, 2002 – S.I. No. 97 of 2002 – and these are available from the Government publications bookshop. The national milk quota restructuring scheme and the temporary leasing scheme include provisions for the priority access of milk quota to younger dairy farmers. Details of these schemes have been published in the national and farming press and are available from co-operatives and dairies and from the milk policy division of the Department. A copy of the schemes, as published, has been sent to the Deputy.
