194 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if an application to the Land Registry Office by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for a site at a location can be expedited; the reason for the delay; and the status of the application. [10747/02]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for First Registration which was initially lodged on 7 February 2002, and rejected on 18 February 2002. Dealing number D2002JS001735A refers. An amended application was re-lodged on 21 February 2002 and legal queries issued on 13 March 2002, and on 25 March 2002. I am further informed that there has been no delay in dealing with this case. However, until legal queries raised have been fully and satisfactorily responded to, this application cannot proceed. I can however assure the Deputy that on receipt of a satisfactory reply to these queries, the application will receive further attention in the Land Registry.
