233 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received correspondence from the chairman of the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Cork dated 1 March 2002; if so, when he proposes to respond in detail to the points raised therein; and if he will give the proposals submitted for a new school favourable attention. I can confirm that my Department has received the letter referred to by the Deputy.

The Office of Public Works is considering options in relation to the sourcing of a suitable site or accommodation for the school in question. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
