57 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will clarify the position on the permanency of employment for a person (details supplied) in County Meath; when the review will be finalised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10833/02]
The Civil Service Commission is currently holding a confined competition for temporary clerical officers to become permanent established Civil Servants.
The above named person is currently employed by my Department as a temporary clerical officer and has applied to take part in this competition.
The Civil Service Commission has informed my Department that interviews for this competition are scheduled to take place during April 2002.
