75 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she will introduce legislation to control engine testing and restrict night flights from Dublin Airport in view of the Heathrow Airport case which rules that residents near an airport are entitled to eight hours undisturbed sleep. I am aware that the European Court of Human Rights has ruled in relation to a case brought by residents around Heathrow Airport regarding the effects of night time flights. However, the United Kingdom has made an appeal to the Grand Chamber and until a definitive judgment is made, I cannot comment on this case or what its effects might be.
