Question:94 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Cavan will receive a suckler cow payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10682/02]

The person named applied for premium on 50 animals under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. Further to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 174 on 5 February 2002, all outstanding queries in relation to the application are now resolved and payment will issue shortly.
The person named was paid €3,999.60 under the 2001 area-based compensatory allowance scheme on 21 September 2001. He was inadvertently paid the same amount on 15 February 2002 and this amount will be deducted from future grants due to him.
