Question:151 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has had REP scheme payments reduced for the past two years. [11265/02]

The first three annual payments in this case were based on an eligible area of 29.690 hectares. Prior to the fourth-year payment, the person named submitted an amended plan that declared an area of commonage, previously eligible for payment, as ineligible. The reduction in the area eligible for payment has led to the reduction in the level of payment to the person named.
