Question:

332 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called to UCHG for an angiogram. [11378/02]

The provision of hospital services in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to you.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

333 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be called for a hip replacement operation to Cork University Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11379/02]

Responsibility for the provision of services in this case rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised and reply to the Deputy directly.
