Vol. 552 No. 1

Written Answers. - Health Board Allowances.

Deirdre Clune

Question:

352 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Health and Children if a subvention payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; the reason for the delay in processing the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11552/02]

The responsibility for the provision of health services in the Cork area, in the first instance, rests with the Southern Health Board. In this regard, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and reply direct to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
