Vol. 552 No. 1

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

609 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation when a national lottery grant approved in 2001, will be paid to Causeway GAA Club, Tralee, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11487/02]

Causeway GAA Club was provisionally allocated a grant of £25,000, €31,743, under the 2001 sports capital programme, which is administered by my Department. In a letter to the club in July 2001, specific documentation and information was sought to formally approve the grant. This is in line with standard procedures under the programme. To date this docu mentation is still outstanding and a reminder letter was sent to the club earlier this month requesting it to be forwarded to the Department.

Questions Nos. 610 to 612, inclusive, answered with Question No. 601.
