124 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of prosecutions in each of the past three years for driving without tax and insurance. [12216/02]

For the information of the Deputy, I should state that details in relation to prosecutions for road traffic offences are published in the annual report of the Garda Síochána, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library. The latest report is in respect of 2000. The annual report for the year 2001 is not yet published.
