Vol. 552 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ambulance Service.

Paul Bradford

Question:

126 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the need for a new ambulance station for Mallow, County Cork; if he will instruct the Southern Health Board to progress this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12483/02]

Responsibility for the provision of ambulance services in County Cork rests with the Southern Health Board. Therefore, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
