193 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will investigate the overall delay in the appointment of the design team and the commencement of construction at Athy community college, Athy, County Kildare; and the timescale for completion of the project. [12362/02]
My Department's post-primary building unit has recently purchased a site for the construction of the new community college in Athy, County Kildare. The question of authorising County Kildare Vocational Education Committee to appoint a design team for the architectural planning of this project is currently under consideration within my Department. At this early stage it is not possible to say when construction will be completed.
