120 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will fund health boards to provide incontinence pads for medical card patients who are in receipt of nursing home subvention; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12369/02]
My Department is in ongoing contact with the ERHA and the health boards in relation to the putting in place of arrangements for the provision of incontinence wear to medical card holders in private nursing. The funding of such arrangements will be discussed with those agencies in the context of their financial allocations for the current year.
