Vol. 553 No. 2

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

481 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children his proposals to provide a speech and language therapy service for a school (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13172/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health related support services to children with an intellectual disability and to those with autism in County Waterford rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the health board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
