Question:98 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the responsibilities delegated to him in each of the areas of arts, sports and tourism; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13991/02]
Written Answers. - Ministerial Responsibilities.
The Taoiseach has delegated responsibility to me for the arts and the associated cultural institutions such as the National Gallery, the National Museum, the National Library, and the National Archives. The responsibilities delegated to me in relation to tourism and sport involve the formulation of policy in these areas and its implementation through the relevant state agencies, the administration of the sports capital programme and responsibility for the delivery of government policy in relation to the provision of a national stadium and a national conference centre.
