Written Answers. - Health Board Services.

Paul McGrath

Question:

109 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the situation of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath. [14008/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.

John McGuinness

Question:

110 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will expedite an application for subvention for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if the maximum rate will be granted. [14085/02]

As the provision of health services in the Waterford area is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the case and respond to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
