111 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who is a patient at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny can be transferred to Carlow Hospital, in view of family circumstances; if a suitable level of care can be provided. [14129/02]

Responsibility for the provision of services for persons living in County Carlow rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
