128 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number of prosecutions which have been taken for the sale of alcohol to minors under the Intoxicating Liquor Act, 2000, since this Act came into force; and if he will provide a breakdown of this figure on a county basis together with the outcome in each case. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the statistics sought by the Deputy are only available for the period 30 June 2000 to 11 February. They are compiled according to Garda division.
