Question:58 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a slaughter premium will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [14122/02]

Slaughter premium advance payments are scheduled to commence on 16 October 2002 in respect of animals slaughtered in 2002, in line with EU regulations governing direct payment schemes.
A statement regarding the eligibility of animals slaughtered in the January-June 2002 period will issue to the person named in July.
