Vol. 553 No. 4

Written Answers. - Work Visas.

John McGuinness

Question:

77 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if a working visa has been granted in the case of a person (details supplied); and if an application in the case has been processed in the name of a company in County Kilkenny. [14294/02]

The above application for an employment visa was received on 28 May from the Irish Honorary Consulate in Bangkok and forwarded to the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform for decision on the same date. Visa approval was received on 6 June and was conveyed to the Honorary Consulate for transmission to the applicant.

I can confirm that the Irish contact was listed as a company in Kilkenny.
