Tony Gregory

Question:

153 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress which has been made to secure a site for the Dublin Educate Together national school on the Department of Health and Children's lands at Grangegorman, Dublin. [15147/02]

Róisín Shortall

Question:

164 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science his Department's proposals for a site for a permanent school for the Dublin Education Together School; if a site has been included in the Grangegorman master plan; if not, if he will negotiate this with the authorities of the Dublin Institute of Technology or the Eastern Regional Health Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15184/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 153 and 164 together.

My Department has identified Grangegorman as a potential location for a permanent building for the Dublin 7 Educate Together national school.

The requirements of the primary school will be considered in the context of the overall development of the site. However, I should stress that at this early stage it is not possible to give any indication as to when the accommodation will be provided.
