Question:231 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress being made in respect of the implementation of the Kilkenny Hospital plan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15282/02]

The implementation of the Kilkenny Hospital plan is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to write directly to the Deputy outlining the present position in this regard.
