Question:

37 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the 2002 estimates for public capital spending by his Department; if the net expenditure under headings is likely on present trends to be exceeded; and if so, the amount by which in each case. [14804/02]

Capital spending by my Department arises under both the Votes for Foreign Affairs and for International Co-operation. The following table provides details of the various capital allocations for 2002. It is not anticipated that capital expenditure in 2002 will exceed allocation under either Vote.
