1146 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason there is such a delay in paying a motorised transport grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if his Department will review their case and issue payment immediately. [16776/02]
The assessment of entitlement to and payment of the motorised transport grant in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
