The property management section of the Office of Public Works is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally and is currently exploring the possibility of acquiring a site for Scoil Diarmada, Castledermot. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently authorised the board of management of the school in question to place a contract for their major building project.
