261 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a place will be provided in Aislinn Treatment Centre, Ballyragget, County Kilkenny, for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17887/02]
The provision of drug treatment services is the statutory responsibility of the health boards. The case referred to by the Deputy is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
