132 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Government intends to introduce legislation to give effect to the judgment of the Supreme Court in the X case, having regard to the outcome of the referendum and the statements made by the Taoiseach at the time, that if the amendment was defeated the matter of legislation would be one for the incoming Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. No decision has been made by the Government in relation to this matter. The question of what action, if any, which should be taken in light of the outcome of the referendum, remains under consideration.
