Billy Timmins

Question:

176 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position with regard to a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow who has not received the 2001 final payment for special beef premium - 20% - and the 2002 disadvantaged headage payment; when these payments will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18287/02]

The area aid applications for 2001 and 2002 of the person named have been fully processed with areas determined for payment purposes of 115.05 hectares and 115.33 hectares respectively.

The person named was paid his full entitlement under the 2001 area-based compensatory allowance scheme. He will be paid his full entitlement under the 2002 area-based compensatory allowance scheme shortly and he was paid his full entitlements under the 2001 slaughter premium scheme.

The person named submitted one application for 2001 special beef premium in respect of 52 animals on 9 August 2001. Full payment has issued to the herd owner in respect of this application.
