Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Finian McGrath

Question:

307 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will urgently meet Down Syndrome Ireland to assist it with its plan for a centre of excellence for children and adults with disabilities. [19270/02]

I met representatives of Down Syndrome Ireland earlier this year and a senior official from my Department also recently met with this association to follow up on a number of issues of concern to them. This included the proposed centre of excellence.
