Question:

368 Mr. J. Brady asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will give an indication as to the implementation of the 3% quota for the employment of people with disabilities within local authorities, a breakdown as to the number of people employed with a disability, and the percentage within each local authority throughout the country. [19122/02]

On the basis of annual staffing returns submitted to my Department by the local authorities, the number of people with disabilities as at 1 January 2001 in each local authority employed, the latest figures available, and the percentage expressed in wholetime equivalents, WTEs, is set out in the following table:
