Question:389 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will place before Dáil Éireann the consent given for the works at Carrickmines Greater. [19109/02]

The following consents relating to the south eastern motorway project have been given by the then Minister for the Environment and Local Government and the then Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands: approval of motorway scheme and related CPO – October 1998; letter of 8 February 1999, conveying consent and conditions in relation to named national monuments – also drawing attention to requirements at Carrickmines; and a series of archaeological licences for excavations to be carried out at Carrickmines prior to construction of the motorway. I am arranging for copies of the above to be sent to the Oireachtas library.
