Vol. 555 No. 5

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

180 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if any refund of income tax is due to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18913/02]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that there is nothing in the taxpayer's tax records to suggest that he may be due an income tax refund. However, if there has been a recent change in the taxpayer's circumstances that leads him to believe that he may be due a refund, I suggest that he writes to the Revenue Commissioners at Unit 687, Dublin PAYE No. 2 District, 85/93 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2. It will then be in a position to advise him whether any refund may be due and, if so, how it may be claimed.
