Written Answers. - Flood Relief.

Paul Kehoe

Question:

183 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Finance the position in regard to the provision of funds for flood relief on the River Pill, Piltown, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19101/02]

There are no plans at present for any flood relief measures in relation to the River Pill, Piltown, County Kilkenny. All available resources are fully committed on other flood relief schemes, in particular the River Nore, Kilkenny city, drainage scheme which is a priority project.
