191 Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for Education and Science his plans to encourage the Dundalk Institute of Technology to provide access to its new sports development to local clubs, including St. Theresa's Special Olympics club in Dundalk. [19345/02]
My Department is satisfied that Dundalk Institute of Technology is open to discussion with all local groups wishing to avail of its sporting and other facilities. The institute has already offered the Special Olympics committee the full use of the institute's facilities and has recently appointed a staff member to act as liaison person in this regard.
