150 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government his plans in relation to the 12 houses built under the affordable housing scheme at Shanakyle, Kilrush, County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19690/02]
My Department recently received a proposal from Kilrush Town Council to purchase, as local authority houses, 12 houses at Shanakyle Road which were originally intended to be sold under the affordable housing scheme.
The proposal is under consideration by my Department and a decision will be communicated shortly.
