My Department is assessing the tenders for the provision of a new two-classroom school at Aghina, County Cork. A decision will be communicated to the board of management as soon as possible.

I take it that the Deputy is referring to Kiskeam national school. The planning and building unit of my Department is currently exploring options as to the most efficient and cost effective way of providing improved accommodation at the school in question. My Department will be in contact with the board of management as soon as possible.
