347 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 644 of 7 March 2002, the progress which has been made in relation to proposed remedial works at a school (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19855/02]

My Department has grant-aided a substantial amount of work at the school referred to by the Deputy in recent years. I am also pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently authorised the board of management's consultant engineer to invite tenders for urgent works to the sewerage system at the school.
