Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

485 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children the care arrangements for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9; the reason neither hospital seemed to take responsibility for this patient's care; the protocols in place for the care of patients with cross-discipline conditions such as this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19766/02]

Responsibility for the care arrangements for the person concerned as referred to by the Deputy rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and reply to her directly.
