Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children the details of a case where a person (details supplied) in County Meath attending accident and emergency department in an Eastern Regional Health Authority hospital, had to wait for over seven hours, before it was confirmed that this person did not have meningitis; the reason the delay occurred in having the results of their tests given to them; the reason there was a delay in receiving this response from his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
