Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Michael Ring

Question:

524 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be called for a hip operation urgently in view of their extreme pain and in view of the fact that a full response has not issued to Parliamentary Question No. 955 of 9 October 2002 on this matter. [20049/02]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive offficer of the board to investigate the position raised by the Deputy on behalf of a person (details supplied). I understand from the board that a reply has issued to the Deputy dated 4 November 2002.
