539 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children the outcome of the working group of health board representatives which was established in 2001 to review the operation of the mobility allowance; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20180/02]
My Department received the report of the national health board working group on 28 August 2002. The group's report deals with the following allowances: domiciliary care allowance; mobility allowance; motor ised transport grant; infectious diseases maintenance allowance; respite care grant; blind welfare allowance.
My Department is currently examining the report.
