Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dublin-Monaghan Bombings.

Paudge Connolly

Question:

131 Mr. Connolly asked the Taoiseach if he will provide a progress report on the Barron commission of inquiry into the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings; the level of British co-operation with the commission; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19806/02]

The commission of inquiry is engaged in writing its report, which Judge Barron expects to complete early in the new year. The commission of inquiry received certain information from the then Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Dr. John Reid, last March and has received no further communication since.
