Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

138 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the amount of State moneys by way of IDA Ireland grant or otherwise paid to companies (details supplied); the extent to which the said companies are still operational; and the prospects of recovery of any such State funding. [19737/02]

I am informed by Enterprise Ireland that a research and development grant of €45,839 and preference share investment of €63,487 have been provided to Rynhart Research and Development Limited. A liquidator, recently appointed, is in the process of winding up the company. The amount of State aid, which may be recoverable, is not known and will be determined by the liquidator.
