182 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a maximum benefit nursing home subvention has not been awarded in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20727/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in the Galway area rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter and forward a reply directly to the Deputy.
