Question:213 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his plans to change the in camera rule which applies in family law cases; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20866/02]

An Agreed Programme for Government states that we will change the in camera rule in family law cases to allow for general reporting of overall trends while continuing to respect the privacy of all those involved. I hope to present a proposal for legislation in this regard in 2003.
