Vol. 556 No. 4

Written Answers. - Motor Insurance.

Finian McGrath

Question:

104 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if, in order to get insurance cover for a taxi, one must be 30 years old; and if this changed recently from 27 years of age. [20790/02]

I have no responsibility in relation to this matter. Insurance companies are free to make their own decisions in relation to the provision of insurance cover. This position is underpinned by EU law.
