While my Department has no funding at its disposal to provide grants for the purchase of life jackets under the fisheries inshore diversification and safety programme, BIM provides grant aid towards the purchase of safety equipment to individuals diversifying from the inshore fisheries sector into sea angling and marine tourism. I am arranging for details of this programme to be forwarded to the Deputy.
