142 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism if an organisation (details supplied) will receive funding from the national lottery; the moneys which will be granted; when it will be released; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20981/02]
A grant of €126,974 was provisionally allocated to the organisation in question under the 2000 sports capital programme administered by my Department. On the basis of documentation received, an amount of €48,270 was paid to the organisation in July 2002. A second claim for payment was recently made to my Department. It has been forwarded to my Department's technical advisers at the Office of Public Works, who certify payments of grants greater than €63,487 under the 2000 programme. On receipt of the necessary certification from the Office of Public Works the balance of the grant will be paid.
